What does the Career plan add?+

What happens to my CVs after six months?+
They stay yours. Every CV stays on your account to edit and download. Only new CVs and imports wait until you get Career again.

Does a German CV need a photo?+
No, it is optional. Many German CVs still carry a professional headshot, and the AGG forbids rejecting you for anything a photo shows, such as your age, origin or religion. Both choices are normal. If you add one, make it a proper portrait, never a selfie.
How long should a German CV be, and what about gaps?+
One page for students and career starters, two once you have a few years of experience, newest first. German recruiters expect a lückenloser Lebenslauf: every gap over about three months named in one short line (Elternzeit, a language course, a job search). The builder flags those gaps while you type.
Should my CV be in German or English?+
Match the language of the job advert; when unsure, German is the safer choice for a German employer. One click switches the CV’s headings, labels and dates between German and English; your own text stays as you wrote it. Always give your German level on the CEFR scale (A1 to C2).
