German A1, A2, B1 and B2 Chapter List

Ankommo teaches German in 109 chapters: 25 at A1, 26 at A2, 29 at B1 and 29 at B2. They are listed below in the order they are taught, 23 of them are mock exams in the Goethe and telc formats, and every title opens a preview of the grammar, the vocabulary and the exercise types inside that chapter.

If you are arriving in Germany with a place already confirmed, A1 is the front door: it is the level at which you can register at the Bürgeramt, open a bank account and read your post. It runs to about 25 hours. B1, the level the citizenship application asks for under §10 StAG, sits roughly 94 hours past the start. Pick the level you are at, not the level you want.
